Mar 2, Im sending my application for the part time bsn program just waiting for one last transcript to be received however, i was hoping to to apply for the fall a. Would i have to apply twice then? Mar 9, I checked with our nursing student recruiter in Newark and here is her answer. Good luck with your application and and feel free to contact Mae directly with future questions about the program in Newark They cannot apply to both at once and they also need to select one campus Newark or Stratford.

If you are worrried about how solvent the program is, need not worry. They are 1 of the few, so they are well equipted. They have excellent combination of online classes and clinicals. The folks at the Stratford Library are amazing too. Just do a cost comparison and a location comparison.
Best of luck! Specializes in Med-Surg. Has 4 years experience. I'm in my third semester right now, so i'll be finishing up this August. So far I think it's a great program, but the workload is heavy and you don't have much time to procrastinate.
Most of the teachers i've had are great, but you'll always find a few that you may not like. The legal issues don't effect the school of nursing directly, so i wouldn't let that drive you away from the school.
Mar 9, Since I'm the one that started this post before I began the program and since I just finished I feel as though I can give you a decent idea.. I did not work during the program and there were times where I really needed every second I had to study or relax a little. Others did work, very part time, out of necessity.
I asked a friend from school what she thought about working and she responded "hmmm depends on the person and the profs they happen to get and the job they have some people can handle working full time, some can handle part time, some can't handle working at all and some can't handle the program at all". I wouldn't recommend working if you don't have to. I didn't, but now owe about 16k in private loans on top of tuition. I can say that myself, I probably wouldn't have made it through if I was also working.
Don't forget that you spend way more time per credit than a normal class because you're spending time in clinical. Other people did work and managed somehow. It depends on your constitution. It can certainly be a bumpy road. I wouldn't put more stress than is necessary before you get a good feel for it. I just applied for fall admission - one of the admission coordinators said that it's still possible to get in I hope what he is saying is true! On the website, it says the program is 4 semesters If I begin in September, when would I graduate?
Specializes in community, mental health.
