Hotmail update problems

Continually locking me out my account despite password changes, codes etc. How did you resolve it in the end? And are your iPhone and mac book both connected via MS Exchange server? I don't it.. I get notifications and previews but cant actually open and reply to emails. Very wierd. Outlook my email service is down! I can't send or receive emails? What's going on?! O, outlook, Hotmail etc were all affected. Back up now. Outlook I am tired because of at least 50 calls from the customers as of now.
